These superb photographs show how a
main road along the cliffs at the southern
end of the Island can suddenly
disappear during a violent winter storm
An article in the Isle of Wight County Press reported that
the IOW council have been given an extra £1m to rebuild this
stretch of road
Webmasters note: It is reckoned that the
Isle of Wight, at the present rate of erosion,
will disappear within 1000 years.
